Doodlebugs Kids Consignment is owned by Amber Segers, Ashley Shaw, and Beverly Westbrook, who purchased the sale in October 2020. With kids ranging from ages 6–14, they’ve been shopping and volunteering at Doodlebugs since the original owners started the sale years ago. Taking over was a natural fit — and they’ve been growing it ever since.
Born from the idea that every child deserves the best without breaking the bank, Doodlebugs has grown into a cherished community event right here in Wetumpka, AL. Nestled along the Coosa River in the heart of the River Region, we’re proud to offer a seasonal consignment experience that brings families together twice a year to save, earn, and connect.
We believe in the power of community and the value of reuse. Our mission is simple — to provide a friendly, welcoming space where families can earn and save on children’s essentials. Consignors earn 70% of their selling price, one of the best rates in the industry. Shoppers find incredible deals on quality, brand-name items for their kids.
