Entering Information: Sign into your account and find the link to “Add Items.” You can add items all at once or save and return at a later time. You will enter each item by category, size and a very detailed description (brand, color, pattern, title, unique stitching, etc.)
Price: The price will automatically print on the item tag. Doodlebugs recommends 1/2 original price for items in excellent condition and 1/3 original price for average wear.
Size: Use NUMBER sizes for each child’s clothing item (newborn-18). ONLY use S, M, L on Men’s clothing, dancewear and sports items if specified on the item.
After Entering Your Items: The website will generate all item tags from our easy-to-use online system.
Printing Tags: All tags can be printed at once or just a few at a time. Use at least 64 lb. white or light-colored cardstock. Do not use paper to print tags. Simply click “Print Tags” and choose which tags to print. Tags will print six per page.
Hanger: All clothing items must be on a hanger with the hanger facing left (like a question mark). Pants, shorts and skirts should be pinned at the waist, to the top of the hanger with safety pins. Make sure the item doesn’t slide on the hanger. Please do not pin anything with clothespins.
Baby hangers should only be used for infant clothing (newborn-24m). Any other clothing must be on a standard sized hanger.
Attaching Tags: Cut them apart and put them in order by item number. For clothing, the tag should go on the right side near the collar. For toys, books, and baby equipment, you can use packing tape to secure the tag. For shoes, you can use a zip tie or large safety pin to secure the tag. PLEASE DO NOT USE SMALL SAFETY PINS, STRAIGHT PINS OR CLOTHES PINS.
